Gabbanelli Accordions & Imports LLC is based right here in Houston, although its roots are in Italy. Founder Gianfranco “John” Gabbanelli learned accordion making from his father in Italy, before coming to America and founding his own company here in 1961. Today his son Michael and his wife Elia run the business.

2010 Revista Triunfo

Gabbanelli Accordions participated in the 2010 International Accordion Festival in San Antonio, Texas on Oct 15th and 16th.  The annual free accordion festival, which is held in San Antonio’s downtown Riverwalk area, turns the historic area of La Villita into an accordion music lover’s haven.

As Gabbanelli Accordions embarks on their 50th anniversary in 2011, our legacy of offering the most innovative accordions continues with the release of our 2011 collection. The new collection will boast several designs that will be permanently added to our extensive selection as well as a few limited release 50th anniversary editions.

Los Rieleros del Norte stopped by today to pick up their newest accordion.

Javier Rios from Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon stopped by to pick up his accordion, he had it custom tuned by Mike Gabbanelli.

Beto Zapata, from Latin Grammy winning norteno group Pesado, stopped by our Houston store to pick up his customized accordion.
